  • 29/04/2013 Due to plot resolutions a number of allegiances have been removed including all the Brankovici Kingdom allegiances, the cardinals men, ordo Guis and the Melitians
  • 24/01/2013 Tanner renamed and reduced by 1pt, Armourer now needed to make military grade light armour
  • 28/12/2012 Yet more protocols added to the list (almost done!), of note is the set bones ability, which replaces staunch wounds for fixing cleave damage. Cleave is no longer fixed by reaching full hitpoints. Ref colour calls and facility/special area rules now described in the rules section
  • 26/12/2012 Continuing to add protocols to the skill list, also descriptions of availability of advantages after character creation now added to the relevant pages. Almost all advantages will no longer be available for increase by character points after this next DT, but there will be more opportunities to increase advantages at events.
  • 25/12/2012 Added description of what protocols are in skills, Synergistic hardening reduced to 2 cp and that and steamware maintenance moved to protocols. Staunch moved to protocols and is no longer a prereq for field aid. Shield use added to combat skills. Herbal lore now separated into two skills (gathering and concoctions), mining reduced to 2 cp, craft steamware moved to protocols (and will be relooked at for costs and prereqs shortly). Survival now costs an additional CP but comes with a free protocol point, sustained survival reduced to 3 cp and also comes with a free protocol point. Alligence bonuses all changed to reflect costs. Botany, agriculture and Apothecary descriptions refined and moved to to their relevant sections.

  • 19/12/2012 Archeology now costs 3 pts and will come with a free protocol point, archaeology no longer requires excavation. Knavery now costs 2 pts and will come with a free protocol point, Roachers no longer get a -1 to survival, Vlastimovici no longer get -1 to constitution and Gretchen Engineers now only get a -1 to steamware maintenance for the mechanics option
  • 17/12/2012 Crossbow removed as a skill and such items will go off bow skills in future, pistols and muskets have been renamed and firearm skills are more flexible in terms of what they can be used for
  • 17/12/2012 Cost of mechanics changed to three points, however mechanics will come with additional options
  • 09/12/2012 The gear rules have been updated, the most major change being that all characters will now start with some shamic at each event, and the higher levels have increased the amount. However prices for items are also due to be changed. New steamware and one new artifact has been added.
  • 08/12/2012 The publically available skill known as alchemy has been renamed to chemistry to reflect progress in the field and as part of the technical skill update
  • 17/05/2012 Removed basic weaponry from the gear list. Basic first tier calls for impact weapons now no longer required a IC crafted, oc lamminated weapon.
  • 16/05/2012 Both the church and the noble allegiances have been taken out of the Duchies options. Traits representing these backgrounds will be included in the countries brief.
  • 07/05/2012 Revised Rules online, starting character points have been raised to 8. Due to the increase, mixed allegiance groups are now less needed for purposes of play balance and recent IC events have made the allegiances less trusting of outsiders. Consequently the one of us and associated advantages have been removed for purchase. Existing characters with this advantage will not be affected by these changes.

  • 20/05/10 While continuing to write the allegiance loresheets and some of their specialised artifacts it became apparent that there was inconsistency over the melee skill purchases. The character creation rules have been adjusted so that in order to purchase a impact mortal wound call a character must have the prereqs of firstly the damage part of the call (for example medium double for medium double cleave) and secondly the lower mortal damage call (in this case medium single cleave).
  • 17/05/10 After careful thought the automation advantage has been adjusted, the types of automations have now been divided into three, at a reduced cost in recognition that we wish to encourage their play but still enough that we believe reflects the serious advantages these characters and their groups receive.
